RUFFA IS THE FIRST WETTERHOUN IN SWEDEN IN 55 YEARS!

Ruffa came to us in April 2006 as a little whirlwind.
Very quickly she learned how to "start" the Kooikers to run and play. But often they told her with ""strong" voice when it became to much :-)

In the beginning we were at some small shows and she behaved very well. It was a bit fun to see the judges when they were judging her because they had never even seen a Wetter before Ruffa :-) So for us it was a nice and learning period.

In December 2006 it was time for her first official shows, so we started in a tough way, Finnish and Swedish Winner :-)
In Finland Wim Wellens was the judge and he liked her a lot and gave her the CAC and the title Finnish Junior and Finnish Winner 2006.
In Stockholm the judge was Jozef Verrees and he also liked her and gave her the first Swedish CAC and the title Swedish Winner 2006!

In the end of March we went to Holland to the Fokkersdag. That day a judge describe the litter and look how and what the parents has given to the puppies.

Then in the end of April it was time for a real show for Ruffa. It was the Clubmatch from NVSW in Holland!
We went to Holland with a little kind of hope that she should get an EX and maybe be placed among the juniorbitches. The week before Ruffa had totally forgot how to stand and run so I was a bit nervous :-)
The day started with nice weather, about 29 degrees or so........full summer for us from the north! For the first time I was not nervous at all I don't know why maybe because of all nice people.
When it was our turn in the ring Ruffa behaved very well and she was winning the juniorclass. I didn't believe it first, I was just sooooo happy!
When she after a couple of hours also became best bitch, someone could have pushed me down with a feather,  I became so happy and so surprised!
This was a big show so now she got 2 CAC instead of one!
In the end of the afternoon it was time for the BOB final and we had to run a lot in the ring, in the end I was running because "a strong will" nothing else :-)
The 2 judges didn't agree about the winner so a new judge had to do the judgement and when Mr Arxhoek was ready, RUFFA became BOB and Clubwinner 2007!
It was an incredible feeling to be winning in the country where the breed comes from and that I showed her myself! My eyes was filled up with happy tears a long time after the show and the whole body was "bubbling" :-) And a lot of people was congratulating us both known and totally unknown and this made me so happy!

A big THANK YOU to Miranda and Pantel for this lovely bitch that we were allowed to buy from you, not for this successful show more for her lovely way of being and that she is incredible!

In 2008 we started with going to Gent in Belgien for a show with Ruffa and Nico, our Kooikerhondje male, and Ruffa got her first Belgium CAC, CACIB and became BOB!

Later this year there where som more shows :-) for example the Clubshow in Holland and believe it or not even this year was a success,  
Ruffa became once again CLUBSHOW-WINNER 2008. 
I must say that first I didn't understand anything, even if she has been placed very well many times the wonderful and "bubbling" feeling was there again. I WAS SO HAPPY!!!!
The success was not over :-)
Rinke her mother became 2nd best bitch and her father Beau became best male and Ruffas grandfather Bertht became 2nd best male. Just the whole family! :-)
The judges really liked the same type!

11/5 we went to Larv and now I was a bit nervous because this was the first chance for Ruffa to get her last Swedish CAC and become champion. AND SHE SUCCEEDED, the judge liked her a lot and she got her CAC and became SWEDISH SHOWCHAMPION!

We went to Holland again 14/6 because we wanted her to get her 5th CAC and maybe the titel, this was the first chance after she became 27 months.
There were 6 Wetterhoun and Ruffa without coat...... so I was nervous. It was typically that she lost her coat just now when the two most imported shows where coming.

BUT the day ended in happiness, she got her last CAC and she became BOB and the title DUTCH CHAMPION!
Now she was also going into the final for group 8 and she really surprised me and became placed as nr 10. There was a lot of breeds that have to leave the ring so it was very nice!

The weekend after we went away again to Belgium and Bryssel. This time she also became BOB and got 2 CAC and the title Belgian Winner 2008. Now we have to wait at least 1 year before we try to get the last CAC there.

In the beginning of July the Worldshow started in Stockholm, Ruffas coat was still "gone" so first I wasn't even sure if she should come with us to Stockholm, but we have paid a lot of money so we went away.
And that was not wrong :-)) She became best bitch and BOS and got CAC/CACIB and the title WorldWinner 2008. 
The judge Ole Staunskjear said that he liked to judge her later on too but at that time he likes her to be "dressed" :-)

The weekend after there where 2 shows in Tvååker and she was BOB one day and BOS the other day!

On Sunday 16/8 we went to Nyköping for a show. And what a day it was in many ways :-)
First of all it was raining the whole day but Ruffa became BOB and today she didn't care about the rain! 
AND after this she was 2nd placed in group 8! 
WE and specially me of course were so happy the whole way home and I sent so many SMS to everyone :-))

During the autumn we have been on some more shows :-)
In September we went to Leipzig for a 2 days show. Ruffa became BOB both days and got 2 CAC and 1 CACIB she also got the title SIEGER LEIPZIG 2008.

The weekend after we went to Ballerup in Denmark and once again she became BOB and got her CAC and now she is also DANISH SHOWCHAMPION!

In October we went to Budapest on the European dogshow where she got 2 CAC and R-CACIB in 2 days. One day she became 2nd best bitch and the other days she became BOB

In the middle of October it was Bundessieger show in Germany, Ruffa became again BOB and got 2 new CAC and very nice judge report! AND the title 
BUNDES-SIEGER 2008! 
Now we also have to wait at least one year before we can go back and try to get the last CAC in Germany!  

In the beginning of Nov we where in Herning and Ruffa became once again BOB and got CACIB and the title NORDIC WINNER - 2008.

Now there are only 2 more shows this year after that some rest :-)

Our plans is to mate Ruffa during the winter/spring 2008-2009.
