All tests are done with good results. Titon is DNA-tested free of vWd, he is also free of cataract and patella and his hips are checked ok HD-A. 

Titon came to me in the middle of July 2005 just before his 5^th birthday. In the beginning he wasn’t interested in working with me but now we’ve got his motivation and expectations going.  Nowadays he enjoys working with me and he’s up for all kinds of activities immediately.  

We’ve began to do some tracking (scent of human) and that seems promising. As a dog it’s always fun to use your nose! Once the snow has melted we will practise more focused.

In the autumn of 2005 we participated in a course in light obedience and it went excellent – TOP SCORE – in all 11 parts! In February 2006 we managed to take a place in a course in competitive obedience course 1. The goal with this course is to compete in the first, of four degrees, in obedience. We’ve also got a place in a beginners course in agility. Both courses starts this spring. It looks like we’ll have a full schedule!! 

Whenever I ask Titon to work with me he’s ready and when I say rest he lays down immediately. His mind is fantastic he is calm and confident, feels very secure. Titon follows me to work and he lays calmly on his bed even though foreign people walk close by.  

When Titon meet foreign people he first check them out in a distance and then come up to say hello. He likes to cuddle and once you’ve started you can go on and on and on…doesn’t say no to a bit of candy either! He pays no attention to other dogs. 

We’ve been to some dog shows in Sweden with good results. Among 57 participating kooikers, in the Swedish Kooikerclub´s club show of 2005, Titon first became Best Male Dog and then BOS (Best of Opposite Sex). He got his third CAC and became Swedish Champion.
